Workshops

COVID-19 UPDATE - after all the disruption of the last two years, our workshops are now running again, as planned, but with measures in place as required. The safety and well being of our clients is of the utmost importance to us and we are constantly monitoring the situation. If you have any concerns or questions in the meantime, please do get in touch.

I run a number of different photographic workshops and tours, both individually and with my good friend and Tripod Travels partner, Alex Hare. Group sizes are always very small, typically with a ratio of four participants to one tutor, and an absolute maximum of five - this allows proper time to be spent with each person and plenty of opportunity to enjoy the best vantage points. However, I am able to accommodate a larger group for privately organised photography club workshops, as well as provide tailored 1-2-1 tuition. I am fully covered by tour operator's insurance and have an ITC approved outdoor first aid certificate.

For the last few years, my workshops have been supported by the lovely folk at LEE FILTERS and I am able to offer the loan of Lee filter kits during workshops, including the big stopper and little stopper ND filters; and both soft and hard ND grad sets.

CARBON OFFSETTING
I'm now donating a small percentage from all of my workshop profits to causes that help our environment - a ways of giving just a little back to our precious landscape. For my Yorkshire based workshops I'll be donating 7.5% of profits to Yorkshire Wildlife Trust's Give Peat a Chance campaign. For my Tripod Travels workshops with Alex, we will be donating to a variety of reputable carbon offsetting charities and will be offsetting an average of 1 tonne CO2 per workshop client - approximately £10 in value per client.
