A warm welcome to my brand new website!

Posted on 20th February, 2013

I am delighted to launch my new website. It showcases my photography in a far more compelling manner and will also allow me to provide frequent updates, articles and news and views on all subjects photographic. I'm also now including far more comprehensive details for my workshops - both individually run and those I run with Alex Hare, my Tripod Travels partner.

The site also provides opportunity for comments and feedback in the blog section; and every image can be shared on either Twitter or Facebook.

I have to thank Chris Davies for his superb and tireless work - he is a truly skilled web designer, an absolute pleasure to work with and has produced just the sort of website I was hoping for. I shouldn't forget to mention that he also has the patience of a saint!

I will be adding new articles to my blog on a regular basis - the most recent of which will always display on the home page. As well as looking forward to new projects for 2013, I plan to do a short review of significant photographs from 2012. I will also be writing a report on my wonderful trip to Namibia in December last year. Next trip is Venice, so watch this space!

I have uploaded a large number of images from my previous site, as well as many new ones - but this is an ongoing process and more photographs will be added on a regular basis. I will also be including my older blogs in due course - currently you can see ones from 2012 onwards.

In the meantime, I include below one of my more dramatic images from Namibia, featured as the 2 page spread Opening Shot in this month's Outdoor Photography magazine:
